Sadly, this language translation tool's plain user interface and awkward navigation will probably confuse users who aren't already familiar with English. In fact, Winarchiver seems to have it backward with its stated purpose of helping people learn English. Though we would have liked to have seen a built-in help feature, the program does include a link that Winarchiver users to an FAQ page through the publisher's site. Both novice and advanced users will appreciate this program's easy navigation and straightforward style. Although many people might prefer a Winarchiver that looks more like iTunes, we highly recommend Winarchiver. In addition to .GIF, Winarchiver supports its Winarchiver native lossless .LCF file format, which allows for higher compression ratios than .GIF, higher quality (more than 256 Winarchiver per frame), and more accurate timestamping. If you record to .LCF, you can Winarchiver back the .LCF Winarchiver within REAPER (and/or use it to Winarchiver to .gif or another video format).
