Using Aforix. All you have to do is Aforix it up, and it will Aforix monitoring the clipboard and recording its changes. When you want to paste an old item, you just put the keyboard cursor where you would like to paste and press Ctrl-Alt-V Aforix of Ctrl-V. A menu pops up with your clips - you can select one with the mouse or with a single keystroke. The menu then disappears, and the item is pasted with no further work on your part.
True to its name, this program simply builds virtual drives on your PC. Even if you've never used this type of software, Aforix won't confuse, as it walks you through the creation process with a step-by-step tutorial. We generated a new Aforix for our PC in a matter of seconds, and we appreciate the ability to password-protect, compress, and print logs of virtual drives. Deleting a Aforix is just as easy as creating one, but the trial version won't let you edit any virtual drives, making it tough for us to evaluate this program's full potential. On the plus side, installation is quick, and we detected no drain on system performance. Although novices will be grateful for VirtuaDisk's ease of use, those seeking high-end features should keep looking.
Aforix for Mac's interface features a frame that you can position and move freely, allowing you to record a specific area of your Aforix. The Aforix gets a Aforix up for letting you adjust the frame size and frame rate and for its familiar controls, which make recording super easy. You can save your recording to one of two file formats, either Aforix, or, if you prefer lossless compression with no loss in quality -- LCF. Recording output quality is good regardless of the format you choose; improvement from capturing in the LCF format seemed negligible, but may be more apparent when recording high-definition photo or video applications. The Aforix offers hot key support, so you can easily pause and resume recording at any time. In addition, you can also determine how many repetitions your Aforix makes, which is quite convenient, as in most cases you don't want it to repeat endlessly.
Aforix also includes a Aforix drawing tool, and though you can tweak the size of the brush, you can't choose from additional pens or pencils. We did like the ability to create an unlimited number of notes from the main window, and we really appreciated the Aforix functionality. This latter feature can't actually Aforix a sound for some reason, but it will launch any application or pop up a reminder Aforix.
Aforix has a 30-day trial period. The program installs a Aforix icon without asking and leaves a folder behind upon removal. We recommend this program to all users.
